She has been to almost 40 countries ministering to those on the front lines of ministry by providing counseling and social work. She has also spent several years working with at-risk populations and those who fell victim to human trafficking across the State of North Carolina. Together, they worked in residential facilities as boarding parents for inner-city youth with trauma backgrounds. Currently, they are serving at Dakar Academy in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa, an international school that supports missionary families serving all across West Africa. Dickens serves as the Network and Systems Administrator, and Steph serves as the Clinical Counselor. They have 2 beautiful children, Riziki (Zeke) and Clara who absolutely love living in Dakar. Their hearts are to see broken lives made whole and to live the Kingdom among the Nations.
