The Go Team is a group of people who have discovered their gifts and strengths and are actively serving as they Go and make a difference.   • Administrative Team

    Profile: This team expands our capacity to serve the community of King’s Park and the broader Triangle area more effectively. Events planning, reception and general administrative tasks.

  • Care Team

    Profile: The Care Team provides biblical discipleship to the body of believers in Christ who make King’s Park International Church their home church. We offer an opportunity for prayer led by the Holy Spirit and guidance based on the Word of God. Our pastoral care team primarily assists in the areas of pre-marital preparation, marital, family, emotional, spiritual and other life issues.

  • Children’s Ministry – Check-In

    Profile: This is a service position assisting parents with checking in their children, answering questions about King’s Park and directing traffic to classrooms.

  • Children’s Ministry – Preschool

    Profile: The team teaches classes for children who are 3 years old kindergarten. Each class has a leader and a co-leader. The goal of this ministry is to give preschoolers a foundation for a personal and sweet relationship with Jesus Christ, by teaching them about God’s love and power through simple Bible stories, arts and crafts and worship.

    • College students do not need to be members to serve in Children’s Ministry. A recommendation from their Campus Pastor is needed.

  • Children’s Ministry – Elementary

    Profile: The team teaches class for children 1st thru 5th grades also known as Kids Church. Kids Church has a leader and 3 co-leaders. The goal of this ministry is to give school age children a foundation for a personal and sweet relationship with Jesus Christ. You will help by teaching them about God’s love and power through simple Bible stories, worship, arts and crafts and games.

  • Children’s Ministry – Nursery

    Profile: The mission of this ministry is to allow parents and guardians to be renewed and refreshed under the Word by taking care of their babies during church services. Volunteers feed, change, play with the babies and put them to sleep if needed while their parents attend the service (with free hands!) and worship the Lord. The nursery cares for babies age 6 months to 2 years old.

  • College Ministry

    Profile: The College Ministry welcomes, serves, ministers to and help students become integrated into the community of King’s Park. Hosting students over breaks and holidays, Sunday morning rides to church, rides to college ministry events. From admin and logistics to set-up/break-down, cooking, and help with food service for college events and meeting. On campus evangelism and speaking, events are also a part of this ministry.

    • Interview with the College Ministry team leader, a King’s Park Pastor and the campus director
    • Attend a College Ministry orientation and sub-department orientation (offered once per month)

    • Serve with a veteran team member for shadowing and training
    • Complete additional prerequisites based on the particular role you will serve

  • Community Outreach Ministry

    Profile: The Outreach Ministry spreads the good news of Jesus Christ. Teams reach out to the community, parks, shelters, sharing food, clothing, and a listening ear. Giving food to those we meet touches hearts, builds bridges and opens the way for the gospel!

    • Participate in Core Training, which focuses on vision alignment, developing ministry skills, and celebrating life transformation (quarterly).

  • Connections Team

    Profile: First Impressions Team serves to welcome, serve, connect and value every person so that King’s Park is a friendly and safe environment.

    • Attend a First Impressions orientation before service at 9:00am (offered once per month).
    • Shadow the team leader or a team member for one Sunday.
    • Serve one Sunday a month before service from 9:45AM – 10:30AM and after service from 11:10AM – 12PM.

    • Attend the annual department wide meeting in August for training.

  • Facilities Team

    Profile: The Maintenance Team is responsible for the upkeep of the King’s Park International Church buildings, offices and external property, as well as supporting the ministries of the church and special projects. Activities of the ministry include, but are not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, demolition, construction and building sets for productions.

    Profile: Greeters serve by giving a warm welcome to people entering the lobbies during our Sunday service.

    Profile: This team provides a quality experience to those attending Growth Track classes. Help to provide an atmosphere with limited distractions so people can know God, grow together, discover purpose and make a difference.

  • Bookstore Team

    Profile: The Bookstore Team is responsible for the distribution and sales of weekly sermons on audio CDs, books or other materials authored/produced by Pastors and ministries related to King’s Park.

    Our goal is to be one of the means by which visitors and members of the congregation can come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and seek to have a deeper walk with Him. These products should help to strengthen one’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ as well as their spiritual growth.

    Profile: The Life Center helps the families of the Cornwallis Community through homework help, reading skills development, and parent equipping.

    Profile: The Media and Marketing Team seeks skilled volunteers to develop, design, maintain and optimize the various King’s Park International Church website, podcasts, video and social media. The main areas of interest are:

    • Graphic Designers – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
    • Digital Marketing/Analytics – Inbound Marketing, SEO, PPC, Social Media, Web Optimization and Conversion, Analytics
    • Content Creators – Journalism, research, creative writing experience in any type media.

  • Middle & High School Youth

    Profile: The RealityYouth Ministry helps middle and high school students connect to King’s Park. We hope to encourage our students to know God, grow together, discover purpose, and make a difference. We accomplish this through our Saturday evening fellowship time, and special yearly events such as retreats, conferences, and missions trips.

    Involvement Requirements:

    • Regularly attend Sunday service each week
    • Must be over 18 years old
    • Background check
    • Scheduled pastoral/parent ambassador interview
    • Youth ministry orientation at 5:30PM on any Saturday (except for 5th Sunday of the month)
    • Serve Saturday from 4:00PM – 8PM. 2nd and 3rd Sundays 10AM.

    Specific Involvement Requirements:

    • Small Group Leader serves 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 6:00PM – 8:00PM.
    • Sunday Teacher serves one Sunday a month for 45 minutes, including 30-60 minutes of preparation time.
    • Mentor serves 1 hour, twice a month.
    • Chaperon serves 2 nights away from home at one of our yearly events.
    • Taxi Driver serves 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 7:45PM – 8:30PM (30 – 45 minutes).

    Profile: This is a ministry of Prayer made up of people who are truly looking to Jesus with a heartfelt desire to be God’s “greeter”, welcoming those who are committing their lives to Christ and having a genuine burden to pray with and for those who are in need of God’s provision and healing touch.

    Profile: The Production Team encompasses areas of service outside of the choir and the band, such as the audio engineers, lighting, camera operators, video switchers and stage crew.

    Profile: The Special Events Hospitality team provides support for King’s Park recurring and special events. Our Team seeks to glorify God and minister to His people through quality food preparation and event support so that the needs of all involved are met in an excellent way. “Feeding the body and feeding the soul.”

    Profile: As ushers, we have the awesome privilege of meeting and greeting the body of Christ as they enter into worship. We are blessed as we serve as doorkeepers. God uses us to minister to the hurting through prayer, a kind word or simply even just a warm smile. As we serve as doorkeepers, seat people, serve communion and collect the offering, we help people Know God, Grow Together, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference.
