Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Care team provides support during illness, life changes and times of crisis for members of our King’s Park community. We use a biblically-based discipleship approach to assist those facing challenges in their marriage, family, emotions, spiritual life and other areas.

Lenten Prayer & Fasting | February 18-April 3
February 18 is the beginning of Lent. Lent is a season the Church has set apart to remember the love of God revealed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Over the weeks leading up to Easter, we invite you to join us in prayer, Scripture reading, and fasting as we prepare our hearts.
Each week, you’ll be encouraged to fast in a simple way and pray along with us using our Lent prayer card. You can grab a card in the lobby and join our daily prayer calls at noon as we move together toward Easter.
Practicing Preachers Seminar | April 28-30
Join us for our next Practicing Preaching Seminar with Dr. Dave Ward, taking place April 28–30, 2026. This three-day seminar is designed to equip and encourage preachers who desire growth in both skill and calling.
Seminar Highlights
Days 1–2: In-depth lectures led by Dr. Dave Ward, focusing on the heart, craft, and discipline of transformative preaching
Day 3: Each participant will preach a sermon and receive personalized feedback from sermon coaches trained by Dr. Ward

Charleston, SC Mission Trip | July 18-25
Join us in making an impact in Charleston, South Carolina! We're heading to the city and its universities with a mission to serve and share the Gospel. With outreaches at the College of Charleston and throughout the community, our goal is to establish a meaningful presence on university campuses and beyond.
This trip offers participants the incredible opportunity to spread the Gospel, connect with students and community members, and lay the foundation for a future church-based campus ministry in Charleston. Together, let’s ignite change and inspire hope in this vibrant city!

Child Dedication | April 25
Parents, we invite you to participate in our annual Child Dedication Service on Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m. This service is a chance for families to publicly commit to raising their children to know and follow God, surrounded by the love and encouragement of our church family.
During the service, we’ll pray over each child and family. It’s a beautiful moment of faith, community, and hope for the next generation.
