African Children's Choir Performance | September 6

King’s Park will be hosting the African Children’s Choir on Friday night, September 6 at 7:00PM in the sanctuary. The internationally acclaimed choir from Uganda will give a dynamic and uplifting performance. Since 1984, over 1,000 children have toured as part of this choir and hundreds of thousands of children and families have been aided in some way by Music for Life. Many of the children from the early years of the choir are giving back and making a difference to their communities as well as mentoring younger children, each ensuring that the cycle continues. King’s Park sponsors The Mirembe House which is  the choir’s North American Home Base when they tour the U.S. For over 15 years, we have been blessed to be a part of this amazing ministry of  “helping Africa’s most vulnerable children today, so they can help Africa tomorrow.” Please join us for this special performance!

Durham Cares Pilgrimage of Pain and Hope | September 13-14

King's Park participates in the Durham Cares Pilgrimage of Pain and Hope to hear God's story through the stories of His people in Durham. As we hear these stories we better understand how we as individuals and as local church are a part of God's story in Durham. We believe hearing and understanding more of God's story in Durham helps us as a diverse congregation to be on mission to Know God, Grow Together, Discover Purpose and Make a Difference.
