 House of Mercy Clothing Closet & Food Pantry

House of Mercy Clothing Closet & Food Pantry provides clothing and food to refugees referred to World Relief and other refugee settlement organizations, as well as individuals and families in need in the community. Please help us spread the word throughout our community and invite those in need.

Opening Hours

  • Clothing Closet: Wednesdays 5 PM – 8 PM
  • Food Pantry: Wednesdays 6 PM – 7 PM

Bus Directions from Durham Station | 515 W Pettigrew St, Durham, NC 27701

  • Bus 12/12B to NC 54 at NC 55 (26 stops). Walk against traffic (about 7 minutes) on HWY 55 to Allendown Drive. Go left on to Allendown Drive to 4823 Meadow Drive #106.

Donate Goods

  • Clothing – all sizes, including outerwear, shoes
  • Bedding and towels
  • All items should be freshly washed, and in gently used/like new condition – please no stains, tears or tattered items.
  • If possible, please pre-sort clothing by gender, size and season; package sorted items according to size in 1 bag and print gender/size/season on the outside of the bag.
  • No other household items accepted – only clothing and linens.
